We take our players and the community seriously. We used to be just players ourselves, and believe that the community has a powerful role in the development of games when the vision is shared by its creators.

3D Environment Artist, Generalist

Full-time position in Irvine, California. Remote Option Available.

Midlevel, Senior or Principal

At Notorious, our mission is to unite players within deep worlds. At the forefront of that effort is our world team - a combination of level designers and environment artists.

We're seeking an environment artist who likes to take charge and drive our vision of the world of our first project forward, with a passion for environmental storytelling. The ideal candidate for us is a generalist, excited to have the freedom to focus on many different facets of the game such as creating environment 3D assets (including modeling, sculpting, textures, and materials), curating beautiful and interesting scenes and lighting.

What project you'd be working on

We're currently building a new core fantasy RPG game for PC/Console using Unreal 5. Elements of this project include open worlds, core RPG fantasy theme, PvPvE, third-person action-based combat, player stories, and engaging systems. It's still very early and anything can change, which you'd be a part of!
